As part of Volunteers’ Week 2026, we would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all the incredible volunteers across the Parish of Lapley, Stretton and Wheaton Aston.

Our community thrives because of the time, care and dedication so many of you give. From supporting our schools and PTA, helping to organise village events, maintaining our beautiful surroundings for Best Kept Village competitions, Christmas events, and giving your time to local clubs, groups and activities – your contribution makes a real and lasting difference.

Whether you’re helping to keep our green spaces tidy, supporting community facilities, volunteering behind the scenes, or bringing people together through clubs and initiatives, every effort matters and is deeply appreciated.

It is this shared pride and commitment that makes our parish such a wonderful place to live.
