After a lot of hard work and contribution from many different individuals and organisations, the map board is now in its new home at the green in Wheaton Aston. Local walks and information can be found on it. Thankyou to everyone who has helped us with this, its appreciated
The plans for the allotments due to be sited at the current Broadholes Lane are available to view.
On Thursday 20th October 6pm-7pm the parish council will be inviting residents to their annual Community Meeting at Lapley and Wheaton Aston village hall. This meeting is an opportunity to seek thoughts and ideas for future projects. The allotment plans will be available to view and members of the council available to answer any questions.
Any resident wishing to leave tributes or memorials will be directed to leave them at one of two pre-identified locations, with a small ceremonial site at the Council Office in Codsall. The locations are as follows:
Codsall Offices – small grass enclosure to the side of the main public entrance. Sytch Lane Cemetery, Wombourne.
Strawberry Lane Cemetery, Great Wyrley.
These are open from 0800hrs until 1600hrs daily.
If residents cannot lay tributes at the above locations, they are welcome to lay tributes at the Memorial Stone in Wheaton Aston. The area is for flower tributes only. Candles must not be laid and will be removed immediately due to potential hazards, faux candles are permitted. Please remove any cellophane/plastic from any flowers left
