- Good news story – Crooked House Tidy-up
South Staffordshire Planning Enforcement Team have been working with Wienerberger Ltd, the private landowners of the lane leading to the famous ‘Crooked House’ in Himley, South Staffordshire. The location has historically been a target for fly tippers and so Weinerberger Ltd were contacted to arrange clearance and securing of the private land. South Staffordshire Council would like to thank Wienerberger Ltd for their efforts to clear the location. View some photos here
- Healthwatch Staffordshire
Healthwatch Staffordshire have some information and requests that we hope you will find to be of interest, and that you might be able to share with family, friends, and colleagues.
Firstly, they have a Primary Care survey where they are seeking feedback across Staffordshire of experiences of primary care in the last 12 months. The survey is completely anonymous, and access to the survey can be found here. Your participation will be very much valued and appreciated.
In addition, they are very pleased to be offering a series of virtual community meetings via Zoom. These will take place bi-weekly on a Wednesday morning at 10.30am and will have the same topic repeated the following week on a Thursday afternoon at 2.00pm.

- South Staffordshire Community Lottery
Good causes in South Staffordshire need your support. - New Online Exercise Classes
South Staffordshire’s Leisure centres have expanded their online exercise class programme to now offer 33 classes per week. Classes are available to members and non-members and can be accessed on a pay as you go basis at a cost of £4 per class. An online membership is also available for £12 per month which provides unlimited access. Join in January and receive your first month at half price.
