NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Staffordshire County Council being the highway authority responsible for the repair and
maintenance of Stretton Road in Stretton are satisfied that it is necessary to close to all vehicular traffic that length of Stretton
Road opposite junction with Starkley’s lane, for 260 meters heading southeast on Stretton Road for a period of 21 days from the
date of this Notice because of the likelihood of danger to the public during overhead works to restore customer’s service being
undertaken by British Telecom.
Access will be available for pedestrians and for vehicles being used in connection with the works (and for emergency services
vehicles or for vehicles requiring access to premises on the length of road which is closed). *Check access arrangements*
An alternative route for traffic is available via Stretton Road, Road From Lapley To Church Eaton, Slab Lane, Little Onn Road,
Marston Road, Long Street, Lapley Road and vice versa.

IT IS ANTICIPATED THAT THE CLOSURE WILL BE IN PLACE BETWEEN 09:30hrs on
26th May 2021 AND 15:30hrs on 27th May 2021.
The restriction may if necessary be extended for one further period of up to 21 days by the publication of a second Notice.
