NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Staffordshire County Council being the highway authority responsible for the repair and
maintenance of Stretton Road in Stretton are satisfied that it is necessary to close to all vehicular, cycle and pedestrian traffic that
length of Stretton Road as lies between Lapley Hall Cottages and Stretton Lane for a period of 21 days from the date of this Notice
because of the likelihood of danger to the public during telecommunication maintenance works being undertaken by BT.
Access will be available for vehicles being used in connection with the works and for emergency services vehicles or for vehicles
requiring access to properties on the length of road which is closed.
An alternative route for traffic is available via Stretton Road, Wenlock Bank, Lapley Road, Starkeys Lane, Long Street, High Street,
Ivetsey Road, Watling Street, Congreve Lane, Lapley Lane and vice versa.

IT IS ANTICIPATED THAT THE CLOSURE WILL BE IN PLACE BETWEEN 09:15 HOURS ON
12th June 2024 AND 18:00 HOURS ON 14th June 2024.
The restriction may if necessary be extended for one further period of up to 21 days by the publication of a second Notice.
